HISTORY

FROM A HOME TO HOTEL SCHÄFLI

  • Hotel Schäfli: where an innovative hospitality concept meets an eventful history. The building was constructed in 1880. It initially served as a private residence before being converted into an inn at the turn of the century.

  • In 1920, it was bought by the Bühler brothers.

  • The building was in danger of being demolished in the early 1960s.

  • After repeated changes of ownership, it was taken over in 2007 by Uze AG, which renovated the building in 2013 with great attention to detail and brought the unique concept to life. Hotel Schäfli is owned and operated by Hotel Uzwil.
